Important message from Outlaw

Dear readers, so many of you still follow the topic of the legacy that Sweet n Pantyhose left behind. She died of cancer over two years ago – full story here. Her husband, Outlaw, just recently left this comment on that post to update all her fans. I figured to share it with all of you since you may no longer refer to that older post.

“Hello everyone,

Update since my soul mate has passed, this is her hubby, Outlaw! All five of our children are doing great and beginning their path through life. It has been almost 2 1/2 years since her passing to the other side. 24 hours before she passed we witnessed her chatting with Jesus and looking up into heaven…her pain left and the beauty in her face shined, she had us all laughing. We each had a chance to pray with her, her a personal message from her to each of us and tell her how much we loved her, then she drifted off until passing 24 hours later.
She had contacted so many through the spirit, I could share stories all day. I have started dating, but my heart literally hurts 24 hours a day. She is always touching my heart, I am always missing her, but one day I will get my opportunity to pass from this life to be with her for eternity. She has shared two places in heaven that she loves visiting, cannot wait until I get to once explore again with her!!!!
I have started a new company on makeup and beauty, will be launching it soon. That way I can leave something for the children and give to the woman’s abuse shelter!
Looking at hosting a pantyhose party for couples in Vegas 2015, hopefully I will have a regular date by then, lol.
Sweet Dreams,

Outlaw “

There is a book out on Sweet n Pantyhose – Sharri by Rhonda Evans on Blurb.com

Newsletter is coming up!

I decided to create a newsletter and already there were about 3 issues sent out that got a good response.

I think that most of the material will be photos of beautiful pantyhose and stockings and maybe some video updates and pantyhose stories.  My next topic should be Falke brand.

In case you are wondering, the photo shown here for illustration is from German Voque by Alex Lubomirski. I liked that composition so much that I just had to share it with you!

Remembering September 11 Tragedy

Even though this is obviously not related to the theme of my blog, most of our visitors are from United States.  I will never forget that day.  It affected people all over the world.

It happened that I was actually in NYC one week before this tragedy and I went to see those Twin Towers.  I went up to the top and watched the city from above.  A week later those towers were gone.  I still had those paper tickets in my purse.

One of my distant relatives who lived in NYC before has lost her mother in this tragedy.  I think that for residents of United States we all know someone who lost a dear one in 9/11.

At the time of the tragedy I was in Toronto, still in high school.  Nobody could concentrate on studying or teaching.  We were all shocked.  People were getting out of downtown as fast as possible just in case our tall buildings were on the schedule next.

I’d like to say to our American readers that my heart is with you.

updates: Wolford size chart is being changed – more accurate chart here!

Such Wolford pantyhose retails for over $200. Choosing the right size would be crucial if ordering online.

… looking at the Wolford size chart

My sweet fan David from Canada offered to send me Wolford pantyhose, as you already know from the previous article.

I told him to buy size  Medium and not anything smaller then that, since Medium is what I usually take in all other brands.

When that pantyhose arrived, I looked at the back and for a moment there got scared.  Could it be that Medium is too large for me?

The size chart on the package didn’t mention the height at all, but according to my waist and hips measurements I would be XS!

My waist is about 65 cm maximum, depending on my what I eat that day, and my hips are always 90 cm.

Medium, according to those numbers, would fit a woman that is approaching plus size parameters in terms of her dress size.

I already had a thought creep through my mind that this pantyhose will be too big.  When I tried it on, Medium was a perfect fit, it couldn’t be better.

So, what’s going on?

I would say that the most important parameter for hosiery sizes is your HEIGHT, given that your weight is proportional. My height of 170 cm (or 5’7” for North America) corresponds to size Medium. However, for clothing like skirts and tops I usually take XS!

I went to the local Wolford store today and another slim and somewhat tall lady like me was assisting me with my questions.

I told her about this sizing confusion and she laughed,  according to the chart she’d also be a totally wrong size.  Just like me, she wears Medium, but according to the chart she’d be somewhere between Small and Extra Small.

Wolford is changing their size chart to show the fit more accurately.  This time they display the HEIGHT of the person too, not just waist and hip measurements.  She pulled out a new size chart and of course I snapped a picture for you.

Yes, according to this new chart I am for sure size Medium!
