I shall say that this is the first time in almost a decade that I am going bowling. I’ve been asking many times to go, but then something would come up. Coincidentally I got my hands on a coupon book that offered a deal on bowling and I took off there with my teen cousin who is visiting from abroad.
She spent at least an hour getting ready, so I figured to put on a funky shirt and some cool fishnets (a gift from a fan, thanks Marty!) to share her enthusiasm. She is wearing Maloria tights by Fiore in case you are wondering with tight gym shorts over them.
We were both surprised that this bowling alley only had 5 pin version and smaller balls. Turns out that this is a true Canadian way to bowl. It is a little bit tougher to play than regular 10 pin bowling. We had a lot of fun and it was a new challenge for both of us.
What a fun pair of tights to wear! I am trying to see how it looks with a whole bunch of different colours. When I look at it, I want to smile. It cheers me up. It’s hard to say if I’d wear it outdoors on days except for Halloween, but indoors it is certainly a mood booster.
Clothing certainty has an impact on how we feel about ourselves and our mood. I have a relative coming in a few days, she is tall and slender just like me. I hope that both of us can wear these tights in different shades and pose for some photos.
In case you are wondering, this style is Keisha by Fiore. The photo in orange was taken on my vacation to Halifax and the turquoise photo is just from a few days ago.
I actually did wear the orange pair outside at the airport and I had a guy come up to me and say “these are cool looking tights, but from a distance I thought it was sunburn and wondered how you managed to tan in stripes”.
There is also a yellow shade, but I haven’t tried that one yet. I did put aside a pair though with intentions to wear it for some cool photos and another mood booster.
In the Sweet Potato Queens’ Book of Love, Jill Conner Brown tells about a time when she was too pregnant for panties and getting dressed for a party. Her husband walked in and…
"(He) was surprised that I wasn’t wearing anything under my tights: ‘You’re not wearing any panties?’ I just said, real offhand, ‘Oh, you never wear panties to a party,’ and kept on doing whatever. He just stood there, slack-jawed, for a full thirty seconds, considering the implications, I suppose. I had moved on, forgotten about it, and he was still standing there, gaping. ‘You don’t? Nobody does?’ ‘Nobody does what?’ I asked him. ‘Panties to a party – doesn’t anybody wear ‘em?’ He was looking sort of dreamy and clearly thought he was being let in on some big secret of all womankind: that every party he’d ever been to or would ever go to – there wasn’t a pair of panties in the room – and he was the only guy who knew."
In this humorous books the main character jokes with her husband about not wearing panties to parties.
I found these cute pantyhose on a Polish website. Isn’t it funny to see cat & star of David combo? I really don’t know what the two have to do together, but I figure it will make my Jewish friends smile. Aren’t these pantyhose with cats adorable?
Funny Pantyhose with Cats
In general pantyhose with cats never fail to bring a smile to my face! I’d do something with paw prints if it would be up to me, let’s say paw prints at the back instead of the backseam.
My friends, if you like to see some photos of pantyhose models, I recommend to visit WamInStyle website. I even had a pleasure of meeting them this summer when I was visiting Russian and we even collaborated on a photoshoot.
Their main theme is wetlook – it’s a fun of doing something that your mother told you to never do, i.e. get your fancy clothes wet. Their models can walk into a fountain or jump into a river during their photoshoots. Having said that, they absolutely love pantyhose and stockings, so majority of their shoots don’t go without some kind of hosiery involved.
There is currently a special on subscription to WamInStyle. Their pantyhose models are just divine, up for any kind of play!
Also, to my knowledge, they accept requests from their members and even non-members who are interested in a specific photoshoot.
*Dear friends, please remember what makes this blog possible – your purchases at the shop section. Would there be a sleek pair of stockings or pantyhose there that you’d like for yourself? Please visit our online hosiery shop.*
My parents keep on asking me what I want to get as a present. It’s a tough one. Most of the time they are completely out of ideas. It gets to a point that I either need to tell them what I need and be very specific, otherwise they will get something completely useless to me.
This year things worked out well. I wanted to take a computer course for a long time already, so I told my parents that they can just cover the cost of the course as a present for me. I’m very happy and excited about this, I signed up today.
Maybe this is not the main stream type of gift, but for sure I won’t forget it and it might make a big difference in the long run.
Would you ever consider sending your friend or relative for a course as a present?
One of my favourite channels on Youtube is by Karen who is a single lady (she was married, but her husband tragically died) and she runs a fun and flirty show about how to start dating again for the 2nd time. That’s why her channel is Love Encore – meaning Love Again.
Karen is a self-proclaimed Cougar and she shares ideas on sex and dating on her blog, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter. I admire her confidence and resilience.
Youtube for some reason had a different opinion about Karen because she was sending out too many videos, so they deleted her original channel without notice. Please subscribe to her new channel here:
In the episode below Karen speaks to women who run a lingerie shop about why it is important to wear nice undergarments and she also tells a story about how she got tangled up in her stockings and garter belt. They also touch up on a new bedroom trend – body jewellery!
