A hosiery brand called Walk Socks decided to try a new catchy packaging theme as a pantyhose marketing tool – crime scenes! How do you like that for an attention grabber?
Men find it so amusing that they can’t resist to buy it for their girlfriend. It’s just too extraordinary to pass. I applaud Walk Socks for such a smart pantyhose marketing move!
On the other note though I wonder why the brand is no longer around. At least I was not able to find anything about it online. Could it be that such a shock factor somehow was just too much for the public?
On another note, in Russia in 1969 there was a serial killer, Yuri Tsuman, who would only target women in black pantyhose. He would take off all the clothes from the victim, except pantyhose. Actually he would demand to take off everything and then only put on pantyhose and that’s it. Women were afraid to wear dark pantyhose on the street at night. He killed 5 women and then got caught, being granted a lifetime in prison.
