National Stockings Day – October 19, 2012
I saw this on another website (lingerie buyer UK) and decided to pass it on, since I am sure that all of our readers know someone they care about who’s been affected by cancer.
Charnos hosiery came up with an international stockings day as a way to show their support for breast cancer in October.
Do you wonder why stockings? Well, that’s a very feminine statement and breast cancer unfortunately affects a woman in a way that is most vulnerable to her femininity.
That’s a good cause. I would certainly give some money for that if a girl in stockings came up to me on the street and explained that.
