My Vintage Pantyhose Shopping Spree

all vintage pantyhose in packages

I was lucky to buy some vintage pantyhose from a Canadian supplier for the shop section.  These are rare to find!  All of these except for Kayser are Canadian-made.

So far I only uploaded one in the vintage section of the shop, the style by Phantom in the pink package that turned out to have reinforced heel and toe, queen size.

I hope in the near future to upload the rest.  Do you like any of these?  If you would like to acquire one of them, you are welcome to let me know because as you see, I only have a limited number.

  1. If I remember correctly some grocery store chains in BC carried Whisper and I think it might have been Shoppers Drug Mart that carried the No Nonsense brand, I do remember the TV adds. Just a note on vintage pantyhose though, don’t ever try to wear them. I recently tried to put on a pair of Dim stay-ups that were several years old and were still in the box and had never been worn, the elastic at the top had deteriorated to the point of being useless. It’s not that I had been saving them for any reason, I mostly wear pantyhose and had bought them on a whim because I liked the box they came in.

    • I know what you mean. Sometimes the waist band may crumble if it has those rubber-band like threads in it.

I tried on vintage Wolford, but those were surprisingly still excellent with no runs.
I also tried on Miss Canada brand and wore it maybe for an evening – also very good, no runs or problems.
