I saw this girl at the Taboo Show and she even agreed to pose for me a little. She was one of the workers there, greeting the public. Cat tights always make me smile!

Ankle socks – nerdy or trendy?
On my trip to Las Vegas I decided one day to wear cropped pants and matching nylon socks. In general, short socks like that seemed to be popular at least a year ago, especially among Asians. I also saw TopShop mannequins dressed like that, showing off their nylon socks.
However, I’ve seen also people on Facebook look down at women who wear their pants above the socks and let the sock show like this. I assume that traditionally to see the top of the sock would only be appropriate for children.
So let’s say that these socks served their purpose and saved my feet from blisters, but do you think they looked good? I would be curious to hear your opinion.
In case you are wondering about the brand, these were by Fiore from a few years back and they are no longer produced.
New Mantyhose Blog and an Avid Male Wearer
Hello, Mantyhose fans! I wanted for a long time already to introduce this special mantyhose person to you. He lives in USA and takes pride in wearing fun hosiery with shorts. Most mantyhose wearers keep it basic, but this man loves to show it off.

My Deja Vu at Toronto Fogal Hosiery Boutique
Fogal is one of my favourite brands for hosiery. They have an amazing reputation and quality. So far my customer service experiences varied, so I choose to only go to the location where I know it’s excellent – Toronto Fogal Boutique.
Last time I’ve been to the Fogal store was 2 years ago, so I was really looking forward to another visit. One of my fans, David from Toronto, who helped me get more Fogal pantyhose before, invited me to go shopping there.
As we approached the store, I was wondering if the same person, Melanie, who helped me last time was still there. To my delight, as I opened the door, there she was! Melanie even remembered that I was from Vancouver. Can you imagine that level of dedication to the clients?
I told Melanie about my trip to Cuba and how I managed to wear Fogal Cuban heel pantyhose there. It was so much fun, I wanted to get something similar since Cuban heel is so rare to find these days. She told me about a style of pantyhose that is similar to the stockings used for the Great Gatsby movie with a fancy design on the heel.
So I grabbed a few pairs, including an ultra sheer 6 den, and tried on the samples available in the store. Actually, I even had a look at the stay ups, but since fall is almost here, I decided to stick with pantyhose. Just for the record though, they are of very good quality.
Melanie, another female associate, and David gave their feedback as I was putting on all the samples in the change room. The 2nd associate there (sorry, didn’t get her name) even gave me some tips on how to put on the backseam to make it straight.
I would like to express my gratitude to David from Toronto for taking me out to the boutique and for buying these wonderful pantyhose for me. I ended up with new 3 pairs of Fogal (Brooke, Clelia, and 6 den) to take back to Vancouver and lots of good memories from the store.
Wearing Idalia pantyhose in Black
Yesterday I took advantage of the warm weather and wore these shiny black pantyhose outdoors! These are Idalia by Fiore. They seem to go with just about any outfit.
Even though they are 20 den, I’d say that they feel a little thicker, as if they were 30 den or so. In a way it works to my advantage because I am not as afraid to wear it at home, since very sheer yarn may get damaged easily. As you see from a photo below, I wear it with a house robe (my favourite silky one) over it.
Do you like black shiny pantyhose? According to a woman who works for a hosiery manufacturer, shiny pantyhose were once very much in fashion, but no longer. I had a fashion blogger friend too who would ask only for matte and couldn’t state even a slightest hint of shine. Perhaps it could be that it’s not the best thing for fuller legs.
However, I’d say that I get the most comments when I actually do wear a shiny style rather than matte. I think that the shinier it is, the better!
Blogger in Gina Lurex Tights
Backseam is one of the toughest styles to photograph since the seams shift. These are almost perfect, I know how hard it is to keep it straight.
This pretty blogger did a photoshoot for Fiore hosiery in Gina lurex backseam tights. I like how she combined it with the theme of make up, as pantyhose are too in a way make up for the legs.
If you like these and would like to get it, these tights are available at the shop section – Gina lurex backseam tights.
Asian Model in Taya Tights
If it wouldn’t be for Asians, I doubt that Vancouver would have so many women on the street in pantyhose. Asian girls are real trend setters.
This pretty girl is wearing tights by Fiore called Taya.
