Recently I was watching a show where this beautiful 20 year old woman said that she is still a virgin because she just can’t find a normal boyfriend and she shared a laughable experience about a shoe fetish disaster. I thought to share this with you and see what you think.
Turns out that one of her dates after their first outing stopped the car 200 meters from her residence when driving her home and asked her if she would take off her shoe. It was a strange request for her, but she took it with humour and handed him one of her heels.
To her surprise and shock her date started kissing her shoe in front of her. Imagine, he hasn’t even kissed her, but he already went for the shoe. She realized that this man is some serious fetishist and quickly jumped out of the car wearing only one heel.
Obviously, since she would not go far in one shoe, she took it off and threw it back in the car, telling him that this is a bonus for him and walked the rest of the distance to her building barefoot.
Would you say that such a shoe fetish act is inappropriate on a first date? I think so personally because I believe that at least the girl would deserve to get a kiss first rather than have her shoes get it ahead of her. Perhaps he would even last long enough in the relationship to find out that this young lady prides herself on having 30 pairs of shoes at home.

The way the man is depicted is as though he has an above average and compulsive hunger for his fetish, almost more so that than an interest in his date. Suppose he’d have been better off just purchasing a women’s used shoes on eBay.
It’s easy to see how the girl was creeped out and would have no further interest in the guy. Glad she parted with the other shoe and left him too busy …

A very interesting subject worthy of many reader comments. How long do you wait in a dating relationship to tell a partner of any unusual kinks or fetishes? Too early, you may scare away a partner… too late, and he or she may think “Why did they wait so long to tell me? I’m already involved, and now I find out *** !”

Inappropriate on a first date? Yes very. I agree he should have waited further into the relationship to bring his fetishes into play. She deserved to have him foster a relationship with her before becoming too kinky. She may have accepted some of the kink after the two developed a relationship, if they were compatible. Or at the very least, as you said, he could have found out she has at least 30 pairs of shoes in her closet.

I just read some scarier stories when men would catch women and force them to undress and give them their clothes or to have a chance to lick her foot or whatever. Such attempts would result in jail time.
I think he did it purposely knowing full well what the results maybe. I would bet that he wasn’t interested in seeing her again so he took the chance and asked her for her shoe.

I am an up front person when it comes to my fetish. I put it in my profile on an internet dating site. This gives the person the chance to ask questions and start a dialog about what it means to have this fetish. I had to write about this article. I myself have had a
foot fetish since high school. Starting back in 1969. I must say that this guy has no class at all. Anybody with any common sense would never have done that. Especially on the first date!
