I wanted to give you some updates, I am still not completely adjusted to living in Calgary, but it’s beginning to get a little better. Moved again, to a house this time. This is my first time owning a home and I am quite concerned about my lack of gardening, plumbing, and other household knowledge.
Yes, it’s March, but Calgary is still so cold. There is no way that I could walk around in sheer pantyhose. I miss Vancouver thinking about the fact that the city is already blooming and people can pack up their winter jackets.
Today I finally went to a place that put a smile on my face – Spruce Meadows Stables. I went as a visitor just to browse, got to chat with the keepers, and feed carrots to the horses. Now I am officially in the horse capital of Canada!
I actually lived in Calgary for a short time a number of years back and have a buddy who lives near spuce meadows it’s a very nice area. Cold in the winter but nice.
Hi Mike!
Interesting to hear that you even managed to live in Calgary for a bit.
I am hoping to get out of here in a few years.
8 months of winter is not fun.
