This is from an “The Magnificent Innovations for Women” exhibit in Hungary – a giant stocking statue.
Sexy, I must say, especially the reinforced heel and toe portion.
May I get one of those in my city for decoration? I like this giant stocking statue much more than modern art meaningless shapes.
*Friends, the only funding for this blog is from the shop section. Please indulge your pantyhose obsession and show some support for my work! Your purchases make this blog possible.*
That is way cool. Were you able to touch it? I’d like to have one in my state
I haven’t seen it in real life, I just saw it on a website for photography.
If I had the room for all my sexual items. I’d love to have one in my personal collection.
The artist did only one. Kinda odd since stockings come in pairs.
Perhaps one for pantyhose would be their next endevor.
I want displays like that along the street instead of boring electricity poles. They can put up a leg like that and attach the wires to it, why not, would look for sure make it the most photographed street in the world.
I wonder if it’s actually made of nylon?
I keep on wondering the same thing! It looks so real, especially the creases and the folds.
I looked for the same photo on the web, in order to have a few more explanations. I came accross an article saying this sculpture was exhibited, along with flatiron, hairdryer, lipstick sculptures, to symbolise the important inventions in women’s lives (it’s debatable for some of them). This is in fact to launch a washing powder advertising campaign, so the sculptures won’t stay there forever. Too bad for the stocking. It’s very realistic.
Wow that’s a one giant nylon stocking…I’m a huge lover of nylons but I’ve never seen anything like it
