Controversial Views of Natalia Tolstaya

It’s a hard decision whether to write about this or not, since many people who know me personally may not expect this.  Probably I wouldn’t talk about this openly if it weren’t for several sexologists who I greatly admire and follow online.

It may be surprising to some people that family counselling professionals advise women not to blame their husbands for watching explicit movies, but in fact to join them and get some new ideas together.

Biology didn’t make people monogamous, so it’s best for him to have his chance to view something at home, together with his spouse, rather than go off to explore it in reality when she is not around.  Natalia Tolstaya, a Russian sexologist, holds this point of view.

Natalia suggests to women to take their men and go explore the sex shop, even if it means dragging the guy in by force.

Did you know that the first sex shop was started by a woman in Germany?  I suppose that’s why German sex shops are considered to be the best in the world.  Not everybody though liked the idea at first.  For example, the first shop in Canada (Ultra Love in Vancouver) had protests by angry women outside of it in the 70’s when it just opened up.

There is also a new trend of sex museums around Europe.  Moscow recently opened a sex exhibit with amazing artifacts from all over the world, both antique and modern.  Here is a photo of a fashion show that they hosted for a line of lingerie.

Besides things like stockings, magazines, oils, I truly was surprised to see that there were adult pantyhose-themed and stockings-themed movies available on the market too.  There are a couple of good labels, like Swank, for that material.  Leg Show and Leg Sex are also two popular labels for magazines, but according to recent news the first one has ceased publication.

So, what are you waiting for?  Go explore, we live only once.
